Hey! Nice to see you!

I hold a deep belief that human beings have more power and potential than they ever tap into. Until people escape their comfort zones and authentically step in the direction of their aspirations, that power and potential go unrealized.

The biggest culprits are:

  1. Lack of self-awareness
  2. Fear of failure or rejection
  3. Lack of endurance
  4. Self-limitations
  5. Distractions or bad habits

As someone who went from not knowing how to swim and barely being able to run four miles to a three-time Ironman and four-time ultra-marathoner up to the 100-mile distance, God calls me to impart His knowledge to others.

This blog is designed to help you be a better you by tackling the five potential limiters above. I address the pitfalls in our lives using the Bible as my primary guiding tool.

My blog is published every Monday at 10:30 am. Subscribe to receive regular emails and promotional offers.

I’m a Christian writer, speaker and athlete inspiring people to courageously persevere through challenges to reach their big dreams and better their lives. God pulled me out of my comfort zone and put me in the world of endurance racing, where He could be the strength in my weakness.

As I trained and became more capable physically, I also grew spiritually: in tithing, purity, and in my overall commitment to God. Ultimately, I came to salvation through an Ironman triathlon. I am publishing a book with Ambassador International entitled Ten Iron Principles, which is a non-fiction Christian living memoir designed to cultivate perseverance and endurance in life.

Ten Iron Principles draws the reader in and carries them on my journey of playing football on a boys junior varsity team and training for an Ironman triathlon in adulthood as God prepared me for my Kingdom purpose.

I’ve published articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants in April 2018, Athletes in Action- Under Review in March 2018, and RUBY For Women magazine in February 2018. I’ve published multiple devotionals for Athletes in Action.

I earned a Master’s of Science Degree and work in the department of surgery as a physician assistant in Baltimore. I’m also a Rodan + Fields skincare consultant.
